Established in 1961, the Ceylon Institute of Builders (CIOB) is the premier institute for Building Professionals in Sri Lanka with a strong network of Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and similar allied professions who work to inspire, encourage, educate and train students, builders, and professionals in the country. The Institute provides various professional development and business promotional services to its membership, potential member and aork towards the overall development of building profession in Sri Lanka.
The Job:
– Conduct Sales visits to potential members/clients to promote CIOB services and membership Create a database of new potential members/ clients and contact them and follow up to market CIOB services
– Conduct Telesales calls daily to follow up on potential members/ clients and to convert them into
new membership/ sales
– Contact and visit Building and Construction industry clients and to partner/ cooperate with them Attend CIOB events as well as other related exhibitions and business promotional events to promote CIOB services/ membership
– Telesales and outdoor sales to CIOB members and potential clients to increase number of CIOB services’ clients.
– Deliver corporate presentations and sales talks
– Handling incoming calls and replying to members’/ clients’ queries regarding CIOB services/courses/ programmes etc. through phone/email/ fax etc.
– Receiving and Recording incoming registrations
– Update /maintain the Telesales databases
– Maintain relationships with members/ clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recomment\ding new opportunities
– Assess members’/ clients’ needs, training needs, ensure customer satisfaction and maintain client relationships
Qualifications and Experience:
– Professional Academic Qualificatio in Sales and Marketing
– Prior experience in similar positions
– Have a record of target achievements
– Familiar with online services/ marketing etc.
– Must be self confident and possess good communication skills
