We are on the lookout for a Procurement Assistant for our client company located in Colombo 01
Job Responsibilities
Supplier Coordination: Identify suppliers, negotiate terms and maintain strong relationships
Engagement: Obtain quotations, process purchase orders (POs) and ensure the timely acquisition of required items
Timely Procurement: Ensure supply chain needs are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner
Inventory Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams for procurement planning
Collaboration: Work closely with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth transactions and efficient order fulfillment
Requirements
Male candidates with age below 30 years
Diploma or equivalent professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management
Minimum of 01 year and above experience in the similar field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Having a very good knowledge of MS office applications , analytical and reporting capabilities
Require to have a valid driving and riding license
Strong multitasking skills with attention to details
Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate
