Operations Supervisor – Warehouse (Colombo 01)

APL Logistics is a leading global 3PL, who designs and operates global supply chains of a world renewed clientele. Having operations in 260 locations in 53 countries with 25 million square feet warehouse space, we specialise in Consolidation services, Freight Forwarding Services, Warehousing and Distribution Services, Inland haulage, Customs House Brokerage and handling Special projects.
We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and results-oriented individual for the following positions in our Logistic division.
Operations Supervisor – Warehouse
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordination with operations team, customers to assure seamless flow.
• Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to operations plans and reviews, quality, customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Maintains inventory by conducting daily / monthly cycle counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in English will be an added
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
Minimum Requirements:
• Successful completion of GCE A/L examination & minimum “Credit” passes for English & Mathematics in GCE O/L examination.
• Previous working experience in similar capacity will be an added advantage.
