Maintenance and Calibration Engineer

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The Maintenance, Calibration and on-going improvements in running activities associated with Textile and Laboratory Equipment.
2. Responsible to implement and design for ISO 17025 Technical Audit.
3. Calibration Engineer responsible for Calibrating and Maintaining Mechanical including Special to type Test Equipment to agreed time, cost and quality.
4. Maintain and repair test/ measuring equipment to component level
5. Keeping calibration/ maintenance records for traceability purposes
Role Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years. Experience and knowledge in the Calibration of Test Equipment and Maintenance of test systems to component level.
• Have a good understanding of Calibration principles and processes.
• Able to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the relevant audience.
