Infrastructure / Network Engineer
This position involves setting up and maintaining the Assette network infrastructure. You should have a good understanding of networks and data communication, and be able to diagnose problems under time-critical conditions.
Responsibilities include:
• Setting up and maintaining Windows servers & network devices
• Configuring firewalls, VPNs and routers
• Remote administration of Production and Staging systems
• Maintaining centralized patch management, anti-virus and backup systems
• Deployment of Assette software
• Supporting the Client Service team to resolve client issues
• Troubleshooting Server/Network problems
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks
• Working with scripts to automate tasks etc…
You should possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to interact with peers and effectively prioritize and execute assigned work.
Qualifications and experience required:
• IT degree or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft network infrastructure
• Good knowledge in scripting languages as Windows PowerShell, VBScript, Bash etc…
• Basic SQL Server administration and knowledge in wilting SQL queries
• Good written and oral communication skills (English)
The following experience/skills would be advantages:
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft System Center Suite
• Experience in working with Enterprise class Firewalls
• Experience in working with Enterprise Backup Solutions
• Setting up and maintaining Virtual Infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience working with cloud based solutions (Azure, Amazon EC2, S3 etc…)
• Industry Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Red Hat etc…)
