Simatech Marine Lanka seeks a self-motivated individual, as an Executive Customer Service
Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned service/s, monitor progress and assist sales team to achieve organizational goals.
• Coordinate activities with the principal, shippers, customers and all service providers to ensure FCL cut off time is met.
• Ensure follow up with debtors and collections are made within the approved credit time frame.
• To assist the sales team with regards to follow up and pricing.
• Analyze market trends and assist to prepare reports as and when required.
• Joint sales calls.
• Maintain databases / Management reporting.
• Filing and documentation management.
Qualifications:
• Teamwork and willingness to serve
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience within the Shipping Industry
• Proficiency in windows 95 or higher, good working knowledge in MS office packages
• Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
• willingness to work flexible schedule, long hours and on weekends and public holidays.
• Be fluent in English, have good writing, communication and negotiation skills.
• Have a good knowledge of shipping procedures.
