The Datbase Developer works with various departments throughout the business in support of our development initiatives. This role will partner with key stakeholders to develop, support and/or automate specific business processes. This position will be heavily involved in supporting our Customer Portal backend integrations, developing/supporting mobile applications, supporting our current asset tracking system for our returnable container assets.
Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):
• Development/support of web based and mobile applications for various business requirements
• Support Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL Server and Relational Database design and Administration
• Assist with design and administer databases, and assist with ERP data migration/integration
• Test to confirm database functionality and performance
• Assist with ERP version upgrades.
• Create IT documentation for established processes
• Provide maintenance support for existing applications
• Troubleshoot and provide necessary fixes related to user reported ERP issues.
Requirements, Experience. & Education (Knowledge. Skills & Abilities):
• SQL Database development and admin support with knowledge of SQL stored procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Desirables (not mandatory but Nice-to-Have skills):
• Java application development (nodejs/react native)
• Experience in Mobile and Handheld Development
• Linux server management experience
• Database administration and optimization experience
• SQL DBA skills
• C#, ASP.NET & ASP development experience
• React and JavaScript development experience
