UI Engineer
We are Australia’s largest eCommerce agency with 15 offices across Australia and New Zealand. Our team is made up of 140 strategic, creative and technical specialists who work in unison to deliver eCommerce solutions of the highest quality. Every team member is laser-focused on digital commerce and the technology ecosystem that supports it. We design, build & support large volume, highly scalable and engaging eCommerce solutions. Vacancies currently exist in our Netstarter Colombo Office for the above post.
Roles and Responsibilities :
• Fast paced hands on front-end web development
• Collaborate with production teams on web executions for multichannel campaigns
• Collaborate with designers as needed to ensure effective implementation of code and design
• Assist with other production task such as testing, debugging and QA
• Keep up to date with the industry’s trends, latest tools and best practices
Experience:
• At least 3 years professional front-end development experience
• Excellent knowledge of HTML (HTML5), CSS3 and JavaScript
• Excellent knowledge of JQuery and other JavaScript libraries
• Good working experience with backend languages (such as PHP, .net)
Expertise In:
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as SASS and LESS
• Working knowledge of libraries and frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation
• Proven ability to work from design comps and wireframes
• Clear understanding of browser differences and quirks
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Version Control, preferably SVN or GIT
Added Advantage
• Exposure to Magento, WordPress and Joomla
