The company seeks the services of young, dynamic, result-oriented, ambitious personnel to fill the below vacancies in our industrial glove manufacturing facility in the Biyagama EPZ.
Process Engineer-Research & Development (R & D)
The main responsibilities of the incumbent of this position:
• Conducting R&D activities in Synthetic Glove manufacturing Process in order to improve the product quality as well as manufacturing process performance.
• Analyzing existing production processes and develop recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will minimize risks, costs, and wastage; increase yields and productivity, and improve the quality and consistency of final products.
• Introducing statistical process control, process capability measurements and develop control plans of entire manufacturing processes including new process evaluation.
The right candidate should have following qualifications, experience and skills:
> Degree in BSc- Engineering (Chemical/ Mechanical)
> 2-3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment in related field.
> Knowledge on Statistical Process Control (SPC) Techniques and use of Statistical Analyses software (SPSS, MINITAB.)
> Good communication and interpersonal skills.
> Mature and pleasant personality.
