Post of Senior Software Engineer
Experience:
* 1 year’s experience as a software engineer; demonstrated success developing a variety of software systems.
Should be able to take responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment of applications.
* 1 year’s experience developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines as part of overall application architecture (experience with any or all of the following highly desirable: SQL Server, Oracle)
* 1 year’s experience building web-based software systems, utilizing N-tier architectures, dynamic content, highly- scalable modules and complex security models/implementations.
* Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex software systems that run in mixed-environments including
Linux, Unix and/or Windows
* Previous experience in configuring and using any or all of the following software systems anticipated:
Microsoft Visual Studio (VB .net and C#)
* Experience with Agile software development will be considered a plus factor.
* Academic Background Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or, equivalent
* Desired: Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Work Responsibilities:
* Develop features across multiple data systems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements
definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.
* Understand how the applications operate, structured, and used by clients.
* Provide engineering support (when necessary) to our technical operations staff when they are building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems for customers.
* Participate with the engineering and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing our products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release the products.
* Participate in interactions with customers as technical experts for product subsystems.
* Other duties from time to time as determined by the Management.
