Interocean Containers (Pvt.) Ltd is an integral part of McLarens Logistics Group, which is one of the leading providers of Container Depot, Freight Station, Warehousing, Transport, Logistics and Shipping Services in Sri Lanka. Interocean Containers specializes in Container Trading; Rentals and Sales as well as Container Conversions. The Company currently owns a fleet of Marine Containers.
Our Business Plan for 2014 identifies the immediate need for an energetic and versatile individual to join our group for the following position in our Marketing Division.
Assistant Manager Marketing and Sales
Responsibilities:
– Conceptualize and Develop a Marketing Plan that will pursue the rapid expansion of the Rentals, Sales & Conversion business in Sri Lanka.
– Drive the monthly budget plan and identify new revenue streams in the category.
– Support the GM in the day to day proactive Sales & Marketing interfaces with customers on an island wide scale.
– Prepare and implement a communication plan that will promote & propagate container usage.
Introduce an innovative paradigm to the container business and make it functional, futuristic and fun.
Profile:
– Professional qualifications in Marketing; part or full SLIM/CIM diplomas would be a distinct advantage.
– Minimum of3 years hands on experience in a similar position, ideally in Construction or allied industries.
– Computer literacy with good knowledge of MS office suite.
– Fluent communication in English and Sinhala with confident presentation ability.
– Age around 35 years; dynamic individual with a positive attitude, good inter-personal skills with the ability to work under pressure over long hours when required.
