Job Roles:
– Cordinate with the scriptwriter and assisting the production crew on the shoot day.
– Review scripts to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution.
– Meet with the production team to establish the desired feel and took for the video to be created.
– Gather and transfer ail forms of media (FB | IG [TikTok |YT) into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.
– Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video’s creation.
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
– Improve video and sound quality using various video software.
– Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
– Create rough and final cuts.
– Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
– Diploma or a basic course on video editing.
– Hand on experience in video and audio editing software and programs (Adobe Premier & After Effects).
– Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously.
– Creative experience in film making and videography.
– Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with production team and the ability to bring them to life.
– Experience in editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions.
– Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects.
– Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation.
– Knowledge on flying a drone, Mirrorless Camera settings and shooting on Gimblas are added advantages for a higher salary.
