Our Client – Is a recognized and nmch respected entity in the chemical manufacturing, trading and distribution operations in Sri Lanka.
Vacancy – Technician
The Profile:
– This is a challenging opportunity for a self-motivated person between 25 -30 years of age possessing technical capabilities that will be required to carry out maintenance work.
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in the industrial sector as a skilled technician with knowledge in pumps, and electrical systems.
– Knowledge in plumbing and pipe fittings would be an advantage.
– Fluency in English (Spoken and written) is a necessity.
– Valid motor cycle license is required.
– Possessing a motor cycle will be an advantage.
– Craft level qualification obtained from a Government Technical Collage or a trade apprenticeship institution such as NAIT A would be an added advantage.
– Knowledge in computer applications will be a distinct advantage.
– Working experience in food, beverages or brewery plant maintenance will be an added advantage with an additional exposure in managing PLC’s.
The Job:
– Regular servicing of pumps and equipment of clients.
– Maintain inventory of the company spares and inform requirements accordingly.
– Execute trials on systems and machines.
– Demonstration on company pumps and equipments to clients.
– Expected to maintain good level of rapport with technical staff at plant level.
