One of our prestigious Clients’ who is a “Software Development” firm, possessing world-class technological expertise and process excellence is looking for “Team/Technical Lead” to work in their Colombo office immediately.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to company vision, mission, culture, objectives, expected behaviors and human values in all aspects including decision making.
Adhere to agile and lean practices of the organization along with a growth mindset, which is characterized by being comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, demonstrating strong situational awareness, having a greater sense of preparedness, having clarity on what others expect from your leadership, being accountable, and seeking to eliminate mediocrity and complacency.
Responsible for managing and delivering good quality software product within the estimated timeline and budget by active and in-depth engagement in full software life cycle from supporting pre-sales activities to delivering the product to the relevant stakeholders.
Identify the skills and gaps of the team members to mentor, coach and train them to develop skills in both technical and non-technical aspects by keeping motivation and inspiration, while leading the team by example.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology is an added advantage.
Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience. (2 to 3 years of experience being a Senior Software Engineer)
Having industry experience is a must. It could be either one of the programing languages (or stack) or more (.net, PHP, Java, node.js)
Excellent understanding of OOA & OOD (SOLID).
Experience in design patterns, best practices and TDD/DDD.
Experience in Architectural frameworks such as MVC (Razor), MVVM, MVP, (MVC 5), EF.
Experience in distributed application development. (REST, WCF, Web service, Web API).
In depth knowledge in using Azure technology, cloud application development, tools and platforms (Service bus, Storage’s, Scheduler, Web apps and cloud services etc).
Experience in using Visual studio, Git, Bitbucket and Continuous integration /Delivery.

Ability to observe the team members to understand the skills and gaps to lead, mentor, coach and train them leading by example.
Leadership skills such as the ability to establish trust, excellent communication skills, always be asking ‘why?’, Be able to take ownership, enable and empower the team members to grow.
Should be able to take decisions independently to drive the team as well as the company towards company objectives and targets.
Strong and effective interpersonal and two-way communication skills and the ability to interact with prompt and professionalism across stakeholders in different time zones as well as within the organization.
Ability to take challenges with respect to the role and the new opportunities assigned in line with the expectation of the organization.
