Senior Finance Executive — Treasury & Compliance
Peak Colombo is the global service centre in IT development & Technology, Finance and HR for PEAK Adventure Travel Group, Headquartered in Australia. PEAK Adventure Travel Group is the largest adventure travel company in the world and consists of more than 20 businesses around the world and is part of the TUI travel group (www.tuitravelplc.com). PEAK opened its Sri Lankan service centre in January 2013 to deliver quality service to the business.
We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to join our dynamic and growing Finance team in Colombo.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be closely working with the Finance Manager and the Treasury & Risk Manager in Melbourne.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Management of daily, weekly & monthly operational banking requirements.
• Support intercompany loan process including month end reconciliations, documentation and repayments.
• Maintain cash forecasting tools to improve working capital management and visibility over the cash needs of the businesses.
• Work with Treasury & Risk Manager to ensure effective hedging policy in place and hedge accounting rules are being met.
• Assist the Treasury and Risk Manager in identifying and evaluating operational & control risk across the business.
• Ensure compliance with Group Treasury policy
Qualifications and Experience:
• Graduate in Accounting or similar professional qualification
• 4+ years of experience in a Finance role
• Knowledge in Banking requirements
• Strong knowledge of FX
• Well-developed computer literacy skills in MS Office environment is mandatory
