Archnix Is a Software Development Company based in the UK and has an development team in Colombo. We’re on the lookout for an ambitious and experienced QA to join our ever-growing team.
About the role: The QA Analyst will enable the delivery of high-quality software to internal and external users, with a focus on early identification of issues to minimise defects which impact the end user. They will work as primarily as part of a DevOps team supporting the digitally enabled products and services but will also support the wider application set as required, particularly Disclosure.
Key responsibilities:
• Improving the quality of software delivered to users.
• Determining testing strategies and techniques, in consultation with other team members, to ensure the system meets requirements
• Organise test plans and procedures for testing at unit, component, system, Integration, and user/operational levels
• Prepare for testing specifying environment, data, resources, and tools
• Responsible for test cases, functional and non-functional, which are traceable back to requirements
• Produce test scripts and regression test packs for new or amended software or services
• Design, plan and execute integration tests, identify open Issues • Planning and carrying out system testing of software, including verifying it once delivered to production
• Supporting user acceptance test execution.
• Develop and enhance automated and manual test suites and tools.
Required skills and experience:
• Minimum 2-years’ experience in software delivery and testing across functional and non-functional test types
• Has a process-orientated and systematic approach to planning and problem-solving
• Communicate fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders as part of an integrated delivery team
