Crystal Martin Group is a leading Garment Manufacturer having factories in Katunayake, Malwaththa and Wathupitiwala zones, Kandy (Galagedara), Dambulla and Kantale seeks dynamic, energetic and self motivated individuals with following qualifications for the position of Lean Manager

Job Description:

The Lean Leader is committed to driving the company wide improvement through the use of Lean tools. This individual acts as a leader within the company to promote process based problem solving and daily management and to promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the company. This individual will work as a member of the Lean team to drive, facilitate, and promote Lean activities and training. This is intended to be a rotational position to build leadership and technical skills while meeting the business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to drive lean culture change rapidly.
• Coach and mentor employees to plan, and implement problem solving, metrics, standard work, Andon, Kanban, 5S, Kaizen, and Structured Projects.
• Facilitate and coach cross-functional initiatives including: mapping business processes, gathering and analyzing process data to identify root cause problems, develop solutions to improve and enable measurable results in process efficiency, customer satisfaction, product quality, and financial savings.
• Provide guidance and direction to teams to develop metrics that provide data to quantify results.

Qualification Requirements:

• Overall knowledge of Lean problem solving methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership
• Must be an expert communicator, motivator, facilitator, trainer, and a leader.
• Able to organize complex thoughts and ideas into a cohesive, simple message.
• Able to build strong working relationships with all individuals (from shop floor to executive & senior managers.
• Proven ability to take ownership of Continuous improvements projects and executes them in a manner that generates bottom line results.
• Consistent focus on safety, 5S, standard work and problem solving throughout value stream, with visible evidence of effectiveness.
• Must be a good time management person; understand how to hold team accountable and how to take corrective action.
• Must be skilled at problem resolutions. Have sense of urgency “do it now” mentality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, textile,business administration or any management related field; or a combination of education and experience; Associate plus 4 years relevant work experience.
• At least 02 years of dedicated Lean/Continuous Improvement experience. Lean/Continuous Improvement-based certification or equivalent together with apparel manufacturing experience
