Software Engineer (Java) 1-2 years hands on experience in Java, JavaEE. Immediate opening.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyzing and documenting problems, recommending solutions, & taking corrective action
• Design, develop, code, test, debug and document
• Collaborate with team and come up with solutions for any identified problem by team
• Provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs developing applications within mature technology environments
• Manage code quality for total build effort
• Deployment support for newly build modules in QA and Production environment
• Utilize Agile methodology and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques
Qualifications:
The Following attributes and experience are essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Client-server application development experience.
• Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• Hands on experience in Java and SQL
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be result oriented and self-starter
The following knowledge and technical skills are required:
• Good understanding of concepts and design patterns in Java
• Good understanding of OOP in Java
• Java Multi-Threading and task scheduling
• Spring Framework
• ORM Framework such as Hibernate, EclipseLink
• Servers such as Glassfish, Tomcat, Moss
• Maven, Eclipse IDE, Test tools like JUnit
• RESTful web services and JSON processing
• Knowledge about JAX-RS, Web Sockets, JMS, JTA, JPA
• Design Patterns, Object Oriented Design, UML
• MySQL, SQL Server, Knowledge/experience of database schema designing Optional
• Android, iOS or Cordova experience will be added advantage
• Experience of GCM, APNS will be added advantage
• Experience of NoSQL will be added advantage
• Experience of UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, JQuery will be added advantage
• Knowledge of performance analysis and tuning
