Senior Software Engineer (Java, Spring, JEE)
We are Australia’s largest eCommerce agency with 15 offices across Australia and New Zealand. Our team is made up of 140 strategic, creative and technical specialists who work in unison to deliver eCommerce solutions of the highest quality. Every team member is laser-focused on digital commerce and the technology ecosystem that supports it. We design, build & support large volume, highly scalable and engaging eCommerce solutions. Over the last few years we have specialised exclusively in Magento Enterprise and Hybris. Vacancies currently exist in our Netstarter Colombo Office for the above post.
Responsibilities
To design and develop enterprise grade ecommerce solutions using Java and Spring and be willing to train / upskill into the Hybris ecommerce platform.
– Design and develop robust code and features to meet functional, client and architectural specifications
– Work with a mixed team of developers, architects, testers, BA’s and project managers both on and offshore
– Take ownership of tasks and joint ownership of code and application quality including code review
– Take ownership and pride in what you and the team delivers
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Mandatory:
– Strong experience developing Java / Spring / JEE web and enterprise applications
– The ability to work on the backend and frontend (JSP, Spring MVC), Quick learner
– We are a very friendly team so you must be a team player
– The desire to motivate and push each other towards better practices and deliverable’s
– Java, Spring, JSP, JEE, Web Services, XML, Service Orientated Architecture, MySQL, Oracle
Desirable:
– Ecommerce design and development experience is plus (especially if it’s with Hybris or another platform like ATG or WebSphere)
– Use of any test tools
– Spring or Java certifications
