Sales Manager – B2B (Colombo)

We are looking for a Sales Manager with an extensive experience in the Inbound Travel! industry in Sri Lanka to join our Sales Department to deliver the following requirements:
– Source and approach Sri Lankan, indian, Far East & Middle Eastern Travel agents promoting Maldives to work with us.
– Devise creative ways to expand our client base through prospecting, marketing
and key relationships.
– Analyse market trends, identify business opportunities, develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability and conversion rates.
– Retain and develop loyal agent database from existing and newly acquired partners.
– Market and promote our booking portal to travel agents.
– Manage and drive the Team to meet or exceed their KPls, be it revenue, service quality. or other performance benchmarks defined by the business.
ideally, one should have:
– Extensive experience in a Sates Manager position at a leading hotel chain.
– Previous experience in cold calling and prospecting new agents.
– Proven ability to develop and implement sales optimization strategies with the team.
– A track record of driving and managing teams to exceed revenue and performance.
– Experience in assessing and setting group revenue targets along with team and individual SLAs and KPIs.
– Exceptional problem solving, analysis, communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Flexibility in adopting to a multi-cultural team as well as rapidly moving and a competitive business environment.
