Quantity Surveyor / Draftsman (Sri Lanka)

We are looking for a Dynamic Individual for the following positions:
Quantity Surveyor
The Candidate should ideally be below 35 years of age having the following qualifications and skills,
* NCT (Quantity Surveying) or Equivalent
* 1 to 2 years’ experience in Building and Housing constructions.
* Sound knowledge in AutoCad and MS Excel will be a definite advantage.
The Job function will include the following responsibilities:
* Prepare BOQ / estimates as per the client’s requirement under the guidance & supervision of Construction Manager. * Liaise with architects, engineers & clients to get necessary information regarding the preparation of BOQ/ estimates.
* To check & certify the interim payment bills of sub-contractors.
* Preparation of breakdown/detailed estimates for extra & additional work done at sites.
* Co-ordinate with structural engineers, architects, service engineers regarding drawings & designs of houses/buildings.
* To liaise with clients when needed.
Draftsman
The Candidate should ideally be below 35 years of age having the following qualifications and skills,
* NCED qualified.
* 3 years minimum experience or above.
The Job function will include the following responsibilities,
* Ability to draw plans according to the client’s requirement.
* Draw plans to suit local council requirements / Approvals.
* Ability to draw as built drawings.
* Ability to draw service drawings.
