Duties & Responsibilities
– Analyze the industry, business and financial data of the identified investment
– Opportunities, and develop detailed financial model and business valuation.
– Preparing informative report/presentation for the top management in a timely manner to facilitate strategic decision making.
– Preparing Information Memorandum [IM] & financial models for funding partners [including foreign pension funds, investment funds & Development Finance Institutions] and working with them on the completion of financial due diligence.
– Supporting the engineering team to prepare financial proposal for renewable energy projects tenders in Sri Lanka and other countries.
– Keeping abreast of economic trends and news in a local and global context to identify opportunities and threats.
– Perform variance analysis by comparing historic performance with the budget of the invested businesses monthly and prepare monthly report for the shareholders.
– Develop and maintain productive relationship with multiple stakeholders [Including bank, auditors, suppliers and consultants] to perform the role efficiently.
Experience & Qualifications
– Graduate degree in finance/ accounting/ business/ economics/ mathematics/ engineering or an equivalent professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or CA.
– CFA Level 1 will be an added advantage.
– 1 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
– Strong command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
– Fluency in English – strong written and verbal skills.
– Ability to work independently.
