We are a subsidiary of a diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka and are pioneers in the field of hotel management. We currently manage several well-known resort hotels in Sri Lanka and are also franchise holders of two international hotel brands. Our Business Partners own and manage over 100 star class hotels and resorts worldwide employing over 35000 people. We are broadening our portfolio with the emergence of a new four star class and two five star class hotels in southern Sri Lanka and in addition continuing major refurbishment projects to upgrade the facilities and standards of our existing hotels.

We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated people centered professionals with the right attitude to support our vision of ‘leadership in service excellence’ to join our HR Team.

Human Resources Managers

The HRMs will be stationed in each of our hotels and will be responsible for the entire HR Operations in the property reporting to the General Manager of the hotel and maintaining close working relationship with the Group Manager Human Resources at the Corporate Office. The candidates should have knowledge and skills in Manpower Planning and Recruitment, Training & Development, Salaries & Wages Administration, Performance Appraisal, and Disciplinary Procedures and be conversant with all aspects of Industrial Labour Laws. In addition, a prime objective will be to introduce and effective implementation of modern HR strategies and administrative procedures with a view to create a performance driven culture.

The candidates should be professionals with excellent academic records, preferably with a Degree / Professional Qualification in HRM with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar capacity in a large organization. Candidates with previous hotel sector experience would have a definite advantage.

Training and Development Managers

Professionals with exceptional talent and hands-on experience to assess the required training needs,design develop and execute training and development programmes to ensure management and professional readiness to meet the aggressive growth plans and the international standards expected by the company including strategic development for succession requirements and internship programmes for growth opportunities. A hotel based position reporting to the General Manager of the hotel with close working relationship with the Group Manager Training & Human Resources Development, which should provide leadership to the organizational strategic workforce planning to meet the future needs in the business.

The candidate should have previous exposure in leisure industry / experience in a multinational organization in a similar capacity, with a professional qualification in HR/ Training and Development.
