Deputy Manager – Education
The Institute of Chartered Account.. of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) Is one of the largest professional organizations in Sri Lanka that supports over 5000 Chartered Accountants and among the foremost tertiary education providers in the country outside the university system with a larger student population of over 44,000. The Institute provides insight and leadership to the accountancy and finance profession in Sd Lanka as well as globally Currently we are seeking outstanding result oriented and energetic professionals with a high level of responsibility, dedication, competence, confidence, drive and adaptability to take over the position indicated below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Improve study support materials to facilitate an enhanced learning environment for the students
* Manage the e-learning material development project
* Review & updating the study materials to best fit with the curriculum
* Evaluate new exemptions and make recommendations
* Manage education & study support projects with minimal supervision
* Manage the future curriculum development / review projects of the qualification
* Evaluate study programmes of teaching partners and make appropriate recommendations for improvements
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Be a member of CA Sri Lanka
* Specialised in any one or more of the disciplines of Financial Accounting & Reporting, Management Accounting & Finance, Taxation, Commercial and Company Law, Auditing, Assurance & Ethics and Management.
* Bachelors or Masters qualification under the relevant discipline
* Excellent oral and written communication (English/ Sinhala or Tamil) and IT skills
* Be a creative thinker with a greater attention to detail and an excellent team player
* Prior experience in Education and similar project will be a definite advantage
* Competencies in multi-disciplines will be a value added advantage
* Preferably between 25-40 years en age
