Assistant Planning Manager
– Department: Project Management & Construction – Archetype Group
– Project: 200 Keys Marriott Resort & Spa in Weligama Bay, Sri Lanka
– Team Size: 1-3
– Report to: Planning Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepares master schedule on MS Projects and fortnightly / monthly trackers and reporting
– Prepare project master program and weekly/monthly construction schedules
– Evaluate program based on alternative construction strategies
– Monitor project progress (design, tenders, purchasing, construction) and update master program accordingly
– Supervise contractors work progress on site and monitor adequacy of resources and equipment
– Assist project manager in preparing monthly reports
Experience: 5-10 years
Education and Skills Required:
– B.Sc. (Eng) /Diploma/ B. Tech/ NDT / HNDE / NDES or NCT Civil
– Excellent command of MS Project (knowledge of Primavera is a plus)
– Good ability to read and review drawings
– Good command of English and ability to write minutes of meeting and reports
– Proficient with MS Word and Excel
– Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
