Assistant Manager – Database (Oracle) (Sri Lanka)

You will be part of a growing team of developers based in Colombo and Sydney. We’ll be growing our existing suite of internal and consumer products, as well as working on some major new areas that will significantly expand our business, within Australia and internationally.
Responsibilities:
– Experience on 12¢/11g Database creation, software binary installations in Unix and Windows environment.
– Monitor and address database capacity issues.
– Exposure in Oracle 11q/12c backup/recovery, support, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
– Ability to analyze performance issues using AWR, ADDM, ASH reports.
– Identify tuning opportunities, implement improvements and advice developers on SOL tuning options.
– Experience on Physical standby data guard, Drid OEM administration, restoration, recovery & maintenance.
– Interact with app developers, managers, database and database tool vendors.
– Experience in analyzing of data table space TEMP UNDO tablespace growth, RAC installation and maintenance and exports imports data pump.
Competencies:
– Minimum five years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other relevant scheme.
– Oracle certified professional
