Operations Engineer (Sri Lanka)

We are looking for a few exceptional professionals to join our Client Service & Operations Team to help us support the growing client base of our suite of reporting products.
Operations Engineer
This position involves monitoring, investigating and troubleshooting live production systems in order to maintain smooth service delivery for our clients. You will need to resolve client issues under time—critical conditions during US business hours (5.30pm to 2.30 am).
Required qualifications and experience:
– Ability to understand and write advanced TSQL, XML including the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
– Programming/ Scripting knowledge
– Understanding of computer networks including TCP/IP, DNS, IIS
– Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
– B.Sc. degree or equivalent.
Responsibilities include:
– Communicating with clients to resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner.
– Investigating data issues and identifying errors and validation requirements, detecting and addressing service problems.
– Coordinating and engaging with other teams at Assette to improve systems, performance and practices.
– Executing routine operational tasks including monitoring infrastructure and services using available tools and remote diagnostics.
Working Hours: 5:30pm to 2:30am
Experience is a similar capacity would be an advantage.
