Head of Operation

Job Description:

– Provide strategic direction to the Regional and Branch Operations
– Provide leadership to Regional Managers and Branch Managers
– Handling daily Operations and achieving defined targets in Lending and Recoveries
– Driving business processes to improvement efforts across the branch network
– Actively contributing to the Training and Development programs aimed at uplifting competency levels of the staff
– Risk assessment and improving the overall quality and the stability of the Portfolio
– Monitor and Manage expenses, controlling branch costs

Job Specification:

– Good academic background with a University Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Marketing / Business Management / Finance or related discipline
– Age between 28 -40
– Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
– A minimum of four years prior experience in a similar position
– Excellent oral and written communication skills in Sinhala and English > Ability to work independently
– Innovative, out-of-the-box thinking
– Flare for detailed analysis and follow-up actions
– IT literacy (General Office applications, Internet, email and integrated ICT systems)
