The HTL Logistics Group is a pioneer in the sub-continental freight forwarding industry, having first started operations over 35 years ago.

We are looking for a dynamic professional to head our newest station in Yangon, Myanmar.

Job responsibilities include inter alio the following:

– Establish goals, staffing requirements and a budget in conjunction with the Group CEO, to whom you will report.
– Definition and execution of the station’s Air & Ocean Freight strategy.
– Accountability for the Profit & Loss of the station.
– The development of relationships with airlines, shipping lines, ground handling agents, terminal operators and other stakeholders.
– Assist in creating a constant flow of sales leads to all HTL Group Offices.
– Establish and maintain good rapport with key customers and accounts.

Requirements:

– Candidates will need to possess at least 5 years of experience in the height forwarding industry, either locally or internationally.
– You will need to have strong communication skills (both written and oral), be fluent in English and be able to communicate effectively across various leadership levels both internally and externally. Good computer skills are another complimentary requisite.
– A knack for building & developing relationship with airlines, shipping lines, group offices, overseas agents, and most importantly, customers.
– The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
