Desired Skill and Education Requirements:
– BA degree in business or the humanities, with significant relevant experience.
– An accounting foundation with a strong commercial acumen and extensive analytical skills
The Role:
This is a high profile position and forms part of a newly created division. The role will be responsible for providing information and insights regarding customer behavior, segmentation, and campaign effectiveness, to deliver
commercially-based actionable insights, which will improve ROI and the effectiveness of the greater marketing
activity.
Core areas of responsibility are to include:
* Shaping the marketing strategy and being accountable for ensuring all marketing investment & spend is fully
optimized across the business for a significant ROI
* Producing budgets and forecasting models across the entire organisation
* Financial modelling to evaluate the most efficient way to target customers
* Management of the ROI for both above the line and below the line marketing
* Evaluating new opportunities and forecasting outcomes of marketing strategies
* Contract/tender pricing and subsequent recommendations to the business through insightful analysis
* Tracking and financially understanding customer trends within the business
Traits You Should Have:
* Understanding of digital enterprise solutions-and the online ecosystem within which they exist
* Strong, practical understanding of how online solutions are effectively deployed as operational channels.
* Substantial knowledge of portal technology (e.g., SharePoint, SAPP, content management systems).
* Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills; experience working with senior client stakeholders.
* Enthusiasm for assuming responsibility and accountability.
* A flair for critical thinking.
* A confident, open-minded, flexible and consultative manner.
