Assistant Accountant
Employer: The Blue Wave Hotel - Arugam Bay

Responsibilities
– Manage finance and administrative function, deliver management accounting and statutory
reporting requirements while critically evaluating existing process & controls of the company
– Work with standard accounting and property management software to manage overall company
accounts.
– Prepare, manage & maintain budgets, expenses, inventory, payments & supplier invoices
– Prepare bank reconciliations, cash flow and monthly income/ expense statements
– Work with company auditors
– Oversee & maintain company overall finance, purchasing, inventory & payroll functions
Qualifications
– Degree in accounting or finance with part qualified charted from a professional accounting body (ACCMA/CIMA)
– At least 3+ years” experience in the same capacity in hospital industry
– Excellent English spoken & written communication skills
– Proficient in computer skills including MS Office & accounting software
– Age under 50 years
