We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support the finance and accounting operations of our logistics company. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the accounting team in ensuring smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist in reconciling bank statements and ledger accounts
Support payroll processing and staff reimbursement tasks
Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and documentation
Handle petty cash and monitor expenses
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
Support auditors and finance managers during internal and external audits
Requirements
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics, transport, or related industries
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP) and MS Office
Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Good communication and teamwork skills
