Senior Structural Engineer Male/Female (Chartered Engineer)
Unleash Your True Potential as a Design Engineer or as a Technology Manager.
We are looking for a smart Lady or a Gentleman who is open minded and focused on Structural Optimization to fill the above position.
The candidate should ideally be below 35 years of age, possessing following qualifications,
1. B.Sc Engineering Degree (Civil) from a recognized University
2. Corporate Membership of Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL)
3. Minimum 5 years of experience
He/ She should be experienced, highly skilled, energetic and target driven individual who has a firm understanding of Optimized Structural Designs and solving problem in construction of buildings.
The candidate’s past experience in a reputed design firm for more than 3 years is expected but experience as a Resident Engineer can also be considered as a part of experience. However, the design office experience for a sufficient period is mandatory.
He/ She should also possess strong analytical skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work under minimum supervision, ability to work under pressure and be results oriented.
The job functions would include, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
1. Carry out comprehensive structural design and detailing of all members of a building/ house
2. Produce optimum structural deigns as well as cost effective solutions
3. Carry out routine quality inspections of constructions and produce reports
4. Lead the team of Structural Engineers and draftspersons
This job entails travelling
