Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Prepare and review progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
Provide accurate cost forecasting and cash flow reports to management.
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams on all commercial matters.
Ensure compliance with contractual and financial regulations.
Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors within the team.
Support procurement activities and negotiate with vendors to optimize project costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with exposure to large-scale construction projects.
Professional membership (IQSSL, RICS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts (FIDIC/JCT), and project finance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy).
