Post of Consultant – Project Management and Consultancy
Job Profile:
Project Management and Consultancy Division of ISB provides a wide range of project management and consultancy services, particularly development project planning, implementation and monitoring & evaluation services, to various local and international level development agencies, donor-funded projects, public and private sector organizations, etc.
The selected candidate will be a key official in the division, and responsible for networking with potential local and international level development agencies, identifying opportunities for project management and consultancy services, and providing such services in a very professional manner.
Accordingly, the main functions of the consultant shall be:
• Networking with existing and potential local and international development agencies, even including public sector organizations
• Identifying opportunities for project management and consultancy services
• Proposal writing for potential clients
• Planning and conducting various socioeconomic studies
• Project planning, implementation and monitoring & evaluation (covering all aspects of project cycle management)
• Preparation of various advanced reports
Applicant’s Profile The candidate should be below 35 year old, and he/she should have the following educational qualifications and experience
• Degree in business management, agriculture, economics or any other relevant field. Postgraduate qualification in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 year experience in working in development projects, particularly at project planning and management level.
• Computer literacy (MS Office package and statistical data analysis software)
• Very good command in English language with excellent writing skills • Outgoing personality and flair for hard working and dedication for duty
Remuneration & Fringe Benefits:
• Consultants’ grade will be JM 1-1-2006-A (Management Circular No. 30) & he/she will be benefited by the approved government allowances plus cost of living allowance
