Payroll Executive Male (Colombo 5)

AN Immediate Vacancy exists in a reputed HR / Recruitment company.
Key responsibilities:
– Ensure that proper processes are in place to for the smooth running of the monthly payroll.
– Prepare pay slips for all employees and reconciliation of error payouts.
– Ensure that changes to claims and benefits payout formulas are captured and changed accordingly in the system.
– Responsible to compute EPF, ETF and PAYE Tax and all related payments and maintain documentation for same
– Complete monthly, quarterly and year end payroll reporting including compensation reports.
– Provide payroll related information for internal and external audits.
– Assist in preparation of management information as and when assigned.
Qualification and experience:
– G C E A/L in Mathematics / Commerce stream preferred
– Possessing full or part professional qualification in Human Resources Management from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
– Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel applications.
– Knowledge of statutory regulations as per Shop /Office Act.
– Two years of experience in payroll processing/accounting is mandatory
– Possess an in-depth knowledge of preparation of leave records.
– An excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
– Posses good communication skills
– Age between 25 – 35 years only need apply
– Ability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines and work late hours when required
