MIS & BI Developer/Designer (Management Information System & Business Intelligence Developer)

We are currently seeking MIS & BI Developer/Designer who should full fill the following responsibilities. Fresh Graduates with excellent SQL skills and good Java knowledge can apply for the Trainee MIS & BI Developer/Designer.
Job Description:
• Position will have the primary responsibility for modeling data needs for reports, report development/design including data validation and will be working on exsisting reports and/or the development of new reports using Jaspersoft iReport/Studio.
• The MIS & BI Developer/Designer will engage internal, and possibly external, clients in report writing and analytical efforts via projects or production support requests.
• Design and code medium-to-high complexity reports.
• Collaborate with others to identify report requirements, design features and specifications.
• Identify and escalate issues that put work at risk of delay and propose suitable alternatives.
• Convert functional specifications/user stories into report design.
• The MIS & BI Developer/Designer will also be responsible for analyzing the report results to ensure accuracy, and data knowledge.
• Provide support to ensure optimal performance of reports and dashboards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in computer science, programming, informatics, or business.
• 1-2 years hands-on experience in a language such as SQL, a recognized reporting tool set such as Jaspersoft (iReports/Studio, Domains, Ad-Hoc Views and Dashboards).
• Strong report layout and presentation skills.
• Experience with- Servlets, XML, JSP, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, and Java script.
• Understanding of J2EE technologies
• Solid SQL knowledge
• Strong ability to analyze user requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to take initiative and accountability for results.
• Proven ability to learn new technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work in a calm and professional manner in stressful situations
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including Customers, Internal Staff and subject matter experts.

• SQL/Java/J2EE/Spring/Oracle/ DB2 /PostgreSQL
