Our Client is one of the largest players in the Sri Lankan Banking Sector and the organization is on the look out fore dynamic individual with an up-to-the minute attitude to immediately fill the above vacancy.
Job Description:
• Implement the strategy of the Bank set by the management for business development.
• Make the financial target set by the Bank for the department on the assets & liability portfolio and income. Have a good relationship with the related department/unit of CBSL and give a proper interpretation of the local regulations on credit accommodation, FX, Treasury in order to assure business under BDD is in compliance with regulations included under AML, regulatory indicators and reports.
• Marketing and having a good relationship with clients (corporate banking clients and institution clients).
• Based on client’s demand, take the lead to deliver suitable service solutions.
• Take the lead to carry out a survey on local markets and peers and give necessary feedback to management.
• Assist Head of BDD regarding risk control on credit risk, market risk and operational risk.
• Assist Head of BDD on administrative management of the department.
Candidate Profile:
• Holder of Bachelors Degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant field. Having an MBA will beat added advantage.
• Over 10 years proven experience in the same field in a Bank
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly analytical person
