Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting

Job Profile:
– Preparation of financial statements and other related information for internal and external use
– Liaise with internal and external parties on financial statement-related matters
– Preparation of statutory filings
– Perform impairment loss calculations on financial assets and other SLFRS related calculations conforming to accounting requirements
– Co-ordinate with other departments on the preparation of financial statements/annual report
Candidate Prerequisites:
– Should be a Member/Passed Finalist of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of UK (ACCA)
– Should have a good knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards and other regulations
applicable to the preparation of financial statements
– Minimum 02-03 years of previous experience in preparation of financial statements of a bank/finance company in a senior capacity
– Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
– Knowledge and hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel
– Good communication skills
