Vacancy for Drafter (Colombo)

We are looking for a Full Time Drafter to join an international architecture firm as we grow our Sri Lankan office based in Colombo. With a number of high profile residential and tourism projects underway, we need an ambitious perfectionist to help us get our drawings done. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn and work at an award winning design practice.
The candidate should fulfill the following requirements:-
– Ability to work proactively, with initiative and as part of a team
– Willing and keen to learn
– Attention for detail
– Good interpersonal skills
– flexible, reliable and trustworthy
– Good level of English and Sinhala (verbal and written)
– At least 1 year work experience in draughtsman ship would be preferable
– Skills with Rhinoceros, Revit, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Minimum Qualifications:-
– Sri Lankan National
– Completed High School Education
– Diploma in QS / AutoCAD Engineering
The right candidate will have the following responsibilities:-
– Design and Prepare AutoCAD Drawings
– Assist with design work
– Carry out Site Visits / Inspections / Measurements
– Attend meetings with clients, contractors and other consultants
– Perform other office duties, including: meeting minutes, arranging timetables and any other roles as appropriate
