Job Description:
• To complete the script map, with concurrence and approval of the supervisor, outlining all segments
for the allocated batch of scripts within the stipulated timeline.
• Upon approval of the script map, to complete writing of the specific scripts, in concurrence with the supervisor, in detail including; content, character dialogues, required angles, scene descriptions and set descriptions, keeping with the script format provided, within the stipulated timeline.
• To complete a script summary detailing all props, sets, characters, sound effects, backing tracks, voice overs, guest artists and other required items factored into each script on a scene by scene basis, as per the format provided, to ensure a full understanding of the writer’s requirements by the production team, within the stipulated timeline .
• Conducting research on content, educational methods and reference material used during the writing process to ensure an upto date approach in teaching and accuracy of content.
• To ensure the standard and quality of writing at all times aligning same with the context, nature and culture of the program.
• To discuss all ideas and content relating to a script, script map or script summary with the supervisor prior to finalising.
