Tax Officer
Job Summary:
Tax Officer will be managing data regards to all taxes (Income Tax, VAT, NBT, SVAT, STAMP DUTY and PAYE), generating MIS reports relating to taxation & entering required data in to Revenue Administrative Management Information System (RAMIS) with an ability to compute figures accurately and to analyze/ interpret financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Raising Purchase Invoices for all purchased goods in the ERP system.
• Prepare all tax schedules relating to the company taxation on a monthly basis.
• Ensure that all released SVAT customer invoices are in accordance with SVAT rules & regulations and applied accurately and consistently across the accounting system.
• Communicate with SVAT customers for the completion of SVAT credit vouchers approval process on or before given deadlines by Inland Revenue Department (IRD).
• Ensure that all tax payments are made to IRD including relevant & complete tax payment slips on or before given deadlines by ‘RD.
• Prepare, organize and handle all tax documents, reports and statements.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Fully qualified in AAT or partly qualification in ICASL/ACCA/CIMA/CMA or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years working experiences in Taxation.
• Knowledge of Tax Rules and Regulations.
• Knowledge & experience in ERP Systems.
• Knowledge in Revenue Administrative Management Information System (RAMIS) will be and added qualification.
• Exposure to accounting applications.
• Capacity of analysis and synthesis.
