Senior .NET Developer (Sri Lanka)

Ocean Software (pvt) Ltd, a Sri Lanka based BI services company, requires an experienced Microsoft Certified Senior .NET Developer to work on UK client projects.
The successful candidate will work from home within a distributed development team located in SL, NZ and the UK.
Excellent English language skills are essential for this role.
Candidate profile and required skills:
Essential skills and background:
• Strong development background in C#.Net technology, RDBMS and UI technologies like JQuery, JSON etc.
• Application development using standard Design patterns and development frameworks like error handling, logging and validation
• Data modelling for SQL server databases and SQL development experience.
• Extensive experience in using 3rd party components/ libraries
• Good communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills; ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance
• Microsoft Certification
• Agile development methodology experience
Other desired skills/experience
• Experience with Cloud environments, and Cloud application development
• Visual Studio environment
• Front end development skills – UI design
• Web Technologies such as ASP.NET, JavaScript and ideally major UX frameworks such as ExtJS
• Previous experience working in a distributed development team
Terms:
Contract position (long term 15-18 months) – Location: Home working – Working hours: Full-time – Rate: Negotiable, and based on experience.
