Senior iOS Developer (Colombo)

We are looking for a talented software professional to join our Research and Development Center in Colombo. Our client is one of Europe’s leading technology and service providers for the transport industry.
The company is behind some of the most trusted transportation brands in the Nordic region, the UK and the Netherlands. The client’s transport booking platform is used by thousands of customers and offers the best B2B platform on the market for large and small companies. The core operation is based in Sweden.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
– Strong skills with mobile application development for iOS platform (Swift)
– Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, MVC)
– Experience with Test Automation (XCTest)
– Experience with Continuous Integration tools (Travis or similar)
– Good understanding of mobile app development standards/best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
– A Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
– 3+ years’ experience in developing mobile applications for iOS
– Good communication/presentation skills in English (both verbal and written)
– Ability to acquire domain knowledge and an understanding of business rules
– Familiar with agile software development practices (Scrum)
– High attention to detail, organized and a methodical approach to work
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Collaborate and build good working relationships with the client’s product management/
development teams
– Plan and estimate for technical design and development tasks
– Develop functionality in accordance with directions/specifications
You will be our client’s key iOS developer, taking ownership of iOS development for a platform alongside a dynamic mobile application development team. Mentoring and knowledge sharing will be a regular part of your job, as well as working with multiple iOS applications and implementing features.
