SCM Operations Manager (Team Leader) (Sri Lanka)

This position is responsible to deliver on the SCM Strategy in the geographical area covered by the Sri Lanka Branch. Deliver according to the financial and operational targets defined in the Sri Lanka Business Plan and budget.
Qualifications and experience
Team management
• Translate branch budget to team budget
• Benchmark against teams in other branches
• Identify and develop talent in team
• Succession planning for team
• Lead by example for team members
• Monitor team KPIS and take corrective actions
• Proper delegation of work among team members
• Training for new team member
Operational Management
• Verify adherence and periodical reviews to the SOP
• Drive shipper portal for booking / FCR / CLR for the region
• Analyze potential productivity gains and verify with branch manager
• Identify process improvement initiative
• Ensure regular KPIs updation and recognise best performing team members
• Maintaining smooth flow of work with coordinating other departments
Who we are looking for
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related fields
Experience:
• SCM background with proper understanding of international supply chains
• Minimum 3-5 years of work Experience from operational roles in Logistic industry
Language:
• The position requires excellent English in written and verbal communication skills
