About the Job:

To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager in Colombo. You will be responsible for the sales and business development of Lamudi in Sri Lanka. This will involve both working on key projects to set up and improve our sales force performance as well as hands-on management of daily operations related to partnerships and cooperation’s that are mission-critical to the success of our international company. You will lead a team of sales representatives, account managers and content uploaders and work directly with the leadership team. Apart from being part of the business development and further improving the sales strategies, you will gain insight perspective on Internet start-ups and develop outstanding experience in the field of e-commerce.

Who we’re looking for:

You have earned an outstanding degree at a top university and have gained first work experience in high-performance environments, preferably within an online business. Moreover, you have a proven track record of personal, academic and professional achievements. Beyond your managerial skills, you have strong structuring and analytical skills combined with a hands-on attitude. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. You are very passionate about online start-ups and have deep interest in developing businesses. Independence, flexibility and speed are as important to you as gaining international experience and you are fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus). High entrepreneurial drive and the ability to achieve goals in a fast paced environment complete your profile.

Responsibilities:

• Develop sales strategy and approach
• Build and develop a substantial sales team
• Manage sales team to drive all activities required to sell our product including:

o Develop sales materials (including presentations, contracts, invoices, exhibition materials)
o Identification of potential clients
o Setup meetings and do sales visit
o Attend sales presentations, exhibitions, events and conferences
o Drive the sales process (from first contact to signing and executing a contract)
o Provides excellent customer service for our (potential) clients
o Develop excellent trust-based relationship with clients
o Identity Product improvements
o Track sales progress with Salesforce tool

• Comply with company’s rules and regulations and enforce compliance of the team
• Administrate according to the company’s standard operating procedures and management system
• Support and report directly to the Managing Director
