Medical Language Specialists / Transcriptionists (Colombo 05)

Gowers Solutions is looking for experienced Medical Language Specialists/Medical Transcriptionists to be directly responsible for producing, editing and maintaining Electronic Medical Records (EMR) on behalf of Hospitals, Medical Doctors and other Health Care institutes based in the United States.
Candidates must have past experience in such transcribing work for at least over 6 months. Experience in Medical transcription will be a distinct advantage.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Produce, Edit and Maintain Electronic Medical Records on eScription platform. This is the most advanced and most convenient editing platform available today.
• Listens to electronic voice files produced by physician’s dictation of patient’s examinations, surgical procedures and/or similar patient consulting event and transcribe physician’s notes in to well organized and highly accurate typewritten documents according to set standards.
• Detects any discrepancies in dictation and edits them accordingly using an extensive array of professional reference material available on the platform itself so that no time is wasted.
• Be able to handle patient records data and non-patient records data and data formatting to comply with standards pertaining to different hospitals. (Specifications).
• To maintain all medical records/information with utmost confidentiality and secrecy by practicing code of conduct and ethics of the organization.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
• At least over 6 months experience in MT/MLS
• Fluent in English reading and writing
• Highly detail oriented and organized in work
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily directions from supervisors or team leaders
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external entities to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
ALL SELECTED CANDDATES WILL BE OFFERED FREE TRAINING ON THE PLATFORM AND THE HOSPITAL SPECIFICS AND UP UNTIL ‘DSP’ STATUS IS OBTAINED.
