Manager – Maintenance
Plans, organizes and provides supervision and oversight for daily maintenance operations and activities in an assigned area, supervises and evaluates the work of both maintenance employees and outside contractors; coordinates section activities with those of other sections and departments; inspects and troubleshoots maintenance work; and performs related work as required under the vendor compliance.
Must:
– Should have a Degree in engineering/ NDT
– Minimum 5 years of experience in similar capacity in Apparel Industry
– Excellent communication skills in both Sinhala and English.
– Knowledge on ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14000, LEEDS Certification, Energy management systems, Gerber & Lectra Automatic cutting machines, advance apparel machinery, Central Air-conditioning systems, generators and boilers, would be a distinct advantage.
– Experience on electrical system with generators and boilers, Air compressors, Central Air conditioning Systems, Civil and general maintenance works.
Printing Technician / Printing In Charge
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
– Manage colour quality, accuracy and colour matching
– Participate in printing approvals as and when required
– Ensure timely conduct of the relevant tests when required
– Assist review of colour and communicate all approvals and rejections to supplier and vendor base under the direction of the Senior Technologist
– Perform additional duties matching with the current role as and when requested by management
– Handle bulk production issues and development samples
– Monitor Electronic printing machine issues
Must:
– Diploma or Degree in Textile Engineering, NDT would be preferred
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Printing plant, Fabric Technology.
– Exposure to ISO, 5S, will be an added advantage.
– M and R and H & M machine knowledge is required.
