Financial Analyst

What you will have to do:

1. Study annual reports and other publicly available information on companies, and identify any material issues/concerns and deviations from relevant local and international accounting standards
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of evaluation projects and communicate the evaluation plan and its details to clients
3. Identify instances in which financial statements do not record the economic substance of a transactions or possess inaccurate accounting. or where the accounting treatment may be misused to change the outlook of results
4. Manage the collection of quantitative and qualitative data and summarizing and analyzing data and explaining research findings and their implications
5. Input historical annual report information on Excel spreadsheets and perform analyses (analytical review procedures) to identify issues in the financial statements
6. Interpret the impact of identified issues on companies earnings and value
7. Write concise reports on findings and conclusions and prepare findings for publication Required Background

• An ACCA or CA Associate Member (with a distinction in accounting and audit subjects)
• A minimum three years of relevant work experience
• Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Excellent analytical and number crunching skills. and conceptual thinking ability
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English & computer literate
