Key Responsibilities:
– Daily Accounting Tasks: Ensure timely payments, and maintain accuracy in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies.
– Month-End and Year-End Closing: Support financial closing processes by preparing reports and
documentation. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
– Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll activities, ensuring accurate data entry, timely salary
disbursement, and maintenance of payroll records. Manage EPF and ETF contributions.
– Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support
strategic decision-making. Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
– Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
– Imports Management: Handle payments related to imports, including Telegraphic Transfers (TTs) and Letters of Credit (LCs). Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
– Tax Compliance: Oversee tax strategy and ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and
regulations. Manage VAT, SSCL, VHT, and other statutory payments in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Strong background in accounting and finance, with solid experience in tax compliance and financial reporting.
– Proven experience in managing financial operations, including monthly closings and payroll.
– Prior experience with import-related financial processes (TTs, LCs, customs documentation) is highly preferred.
– High attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills ability to work cross-functionally.

Qualifications:
– A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
– 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting management.
– In-depth knowledge of local tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
– Experience handling financial processes related to imports is a definite advantage.
– Professional qualification or membership in CA, CIMA, or ACCA is preferred.
